Genesis 4:5-7

⁵ but ^(A)for Cain and for his offering He had no regard. So ^(B)Cain became very angry, and his countenance fell. ⁶ Then Yahweh said to Cain, “^(C)Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? ^7 (D)If you do well, ^[a]will not your countenance be lifted up? ^(E)And if you do not do well, sin is lying at the door; and its desire is for you, ^(F)but you must rule over it.”
